Freelance Photographer: 2016 to present 

Freelance portrait, product, and event photography for variety of brands and individuals. Work includes reaching out to brands and networking, setting up shoots, finding and booking shoot locations, sourcing models, working with clients to create content that works for their brand, and then of course shooting and editing photos. 

Bicycle Tourism Guide for Freewheeling Adventures Summer 2018

Worked solo or in teams of two guides to lead groups of guests on cycling tours through rural areas of the Canadian Maritimes. Responsible for ensuring the satisfaction and safety of guests, as well as managing the logistics of biking routes, guest and luggage transportation, lodging, reservations, extra activities, grocery shopping and lunch preparations, bike maintenance, vehicle inspections, and bookkeeping. This job required a high degree of self sufficiency and quick problem solving. 

Cook at Lake O’hara Wilderness Lodge: Summer 2017 

Responsible for preparing a variety of gourmet dishes for the Lodge’s upscale dining room on a tight schedule, as well as helping with cleaning and kitchen upkeep. Part of a small, close knit, highly efficient team. Lived onsite in the backcountry. 

Campus Co-operative Internal President: 2016-2018 

(Volunteer Position) Board member and then Internal President of student housing co operative (250 members, 24 houses, ~$2 million operating budget, 6 staff). Responsible for Board/staff liaison, staff contract negotiations, engaging with members, communicating board policy, responding to complaints, writing policies, chairing the membership and community committee, and making decisions about operating budget and capital expenditures, restoration, and community planning. 

Summer Company Entrepreneurship Program Summer 2016 

Took part in program led by Invest Ottawa and the Ontario Government for young people to learn entrepreneurship skills and start their own small business. Learned bookkeeping, promotion, client relationship building, freelance and networking skills. During this program I did freelance illustration/design work for a variety of clients, and developed products. 

Contract Illustrator for Canadian Museum of Nature Summer 2016

This was the main contract I did while a part of the Summer Company Program. The final product was a series of adult colouring sheet materials to be used as an exhibit expansion and promotional tool for the Canadian Arctic Exhibit. Results were very successful and are still featured today on the museums websites and used at events.


Child Care Counselor 2013-2017 .

Various community centers and camps. Also worked as a lifeguard and swimming instructor. Responsible for programing activities assisting other staff with the running of activities and looking out for the safety of children, and representing the organization to parents. High degree of responsibility, organization and teamwork with other staff members required.

Co-production Artist for Disney’s Mickey Mouse Installation Fall 2018

Worked with my team member to bring to life a textiles-based design, for a large Mickey Mouse statue. The finished statue was part of Disney’s “Mickey’s 90th Birthday” campaign.


Gala Organizer for campus Co op Fall 2018

Organized a Gala held at U of T’s Hart House, including catering, the Djs, decorations, event photography and ticket sales. I also designed the tickets and promotional materials.
